Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that it’s been two years since Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) world came crashing down. Chad arrived home and found his wife, Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) lying on their bed covered in blood.

Abigail had been brutally stabbed and Chad arrived just as Abby took her last breath. She was taken to the hospital, but there was nothing they could do. At least that’s what Chad and the rest of Salem has believed all this time.

After weeks of searching for the killer, Clyde Weston (James Reed) was arrested and eventually confessed. Clyde made it seem like Abigail’s death was not his plan.

He let Chad believe he Abigail was in the wrong place at the wrong time. But recently Chad found Abigail’s journal which revealed she was investigating Clyde and his drug cartel.

Clyde escaped and when Chad caught up to him, he planned to kill Clyde and get justice for his wife. But then Clyde made a shocking admission.

Clyde said that Abigail didn’t die that night two years ago and that he had proof in a safety deposit box in Chicago. Chad will soon find evidence that certainly looks as though Clyde might be telling the truth.

There’s only one way to confirm if Abby was actually buried. That means Chad will have to decide if he wants to have Abigail’s body exhumed. And that’s where Jack Devereaux (Matthew Ashford) will have a problem.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Jack Devereaux Believes His Daughter Should Rest In Peace.

Once Chad makes the decision to exhume Abigail’s body, look for Jack to protect and maybe even take legal action to prevent that from happening.

Jack loved Abigail more than anything, but he believes she’s dead and gone and will believe that Chad needs to let Abigail rest in peace.

After all, Clyde isn’t the most trustworthy of sources and evidence can be faked. It may take more than Clyde’s word and a few pictures to convince Jack.
