John asks if Marlena thinks Claire is ready to be released. Marlena tells John that Claire’s doctors suggest a supervised release. John asks if Marlena agrees. Marlena wants John’s opinion of Claire’s file. John thinks Claire is doing much better. Marlena questions if she is the old Claire. John and Marlena believe Claire is back to normal again.
John thinks Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) and Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) should weigh in on this. Marlena explains to John that Claire’s jealous maybe a problem. Marlena says they will have to be as parents to Claire. John hopes Claire can make a new start as well. John and Marlena need to get her parent’s approval.

Days of Our Lives Ciara and Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) are going shopping for their wedding clothes. Ben doesn’t know who will be his best man. Ciara suggests Ben ask Will Horton (Chandler Massey) to be his best man. Ciara refuses to elope. Ben refuses to ask Will to be his best man. Ben suggests asking Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash). Meanwhile, Jake gets a photo of Gabi Dimera (Camila Banus) tied up.

Ben doesn’t want Ciara worrying about Claire. Ciara wants her old friend Claire. Ciara suggests hiring a maid of honor. Ciara can’t wait until they get married. Someone knocks on the door, it’s Jake. Jake tells them Gabi has been kidnapped. Ben tells them that Gabi was dragged out of the garage and kidnapped.
Ben and Jake stop Ciara from calling the police. Jake tells Ben that Gabi is as good as dead if they call the cops. Ben tells Ciara that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) is in court today. Jake doesn’t know why his ex-finance came to Salem. Ciara wonders if the ex-girlfriend might still be there.

Days Of Our Lives Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) tells Jennifer Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) about seeing Steve Johnson at the pub. Jack tells Jennifer about Steve’s feelings for Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans). Jake explains that Steve admitted defeat when he saw Justin propose. Jack says Steve doesn’t want to split up Kayla and Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth). Jennifer is determined to tell Kayla the truth.
Jake tries to spot Jennifer from telling Kayla the truth. Jennifer thinks Kayla needs to make her own choice. Kayla arrives as they are arguing. Jack and Jennifer send Kayla upstairs Jack don’t want Jennifer to say anything tonight. Kayla tells them she took Steve home and he passed out. Kayla thinks Steve is still beating himself up over Dr. Rolf (William Utay) messing with his head.

Days of Our Lives Kayla finds Steve drinking at the pub. Steve tells Kayla he is happy to see her. Steve tells Kayla he needs to tell her something. Steve offers to buy Kayla a drink. Steve almost falls and Kayla asks what is wrong. Steve thinks back to his conversation with Jack. Steve falls into Kayla’s arms and she sits him back on a stool, Steve apologizes. Kayla drives Steve home and helps him to the couch.
Steve thanks Kayla and tells her she has always been there when he needs her. Kayla starts to leave, Steve has to tell her something. Steve tells Kayla he still loves her. Steve didn’t want to mess up her relationship with Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth). Steve tells Kayla he wants her back. Steve dreams of telling Kayla the truth. Steve wakes up to find Hope with him. Hope tells Steve about her talk with Kayla. Steve says it must have been a dream. Hope asks about Steve’s dream.
Steve dreamed he got Kayla back. Hope tells Steve he can try again. Steve says Kayla is happy with Justin. Steve wishes he could change things. Hope brings Steve aspirin for his head. Hope tells Steve she will always have his back. Steve falls asleep again and Hope covers him up.

Days of Our Lives Claire gets a visit from another patient who wants her to sing to them. Claire doesn’t think the other residents like her singing. Claire says no one pays attention to her singing. The patient grabs the save the date postcard. Claire says they had a falling out. The other patient realizes that Ciara is the person Claire tried to kill. Claire stole the card off of the doctor’s desk.
Claire says she was just curious. Claire is asked if she plans on crashing the wedding. Claire wants to be Ciara’s maid of honor. Claire wants to make amends. The patient asks if Claire thinks sorry is going to fix this. Claire says a lot of people are against Ciara marrying Ben. Claire says she may be getting out very soon. The patient knows that Claire is lying. Claire claims to be offended by the suggestion. Claire is never coming back to this place once she gets out. Claire’s friend is Jake’s ex-girlfriend Gwen (Emily O’Brien).
