DOOL spoilers reveal that Chad is furious over Abigail DiMera (Kate Mansi) being drugged. He’s even angrier than the drug that affected her mental health, causing her hallucinations to return. He is convinced that Gabi was responsible and people can’t blame him due to the widow’s history. He returns from Florida to attend Gabi’s trial and to testify against her. However, things could take an unexpected turn in court.

On Monday’s episode of the soap, Jack chatted with Chad before the trial. It was clear on Jack’s face that he is concerned about his son-in-law. He tried to do damage control and diffuse Chad’s rage. He knows when someone is about to go over the edge and fears this will happen to Chad.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Jack tried using a few different tactics in the short period of time he spoke to Chad. He played the family card because that is a huge void in Chad’s life. That is the whole reason he was so easily brainwashed. It was due to his deep-rooted desire to have a real family, as well as to get his father’s love and approval.
Jack also tried to have Chad focus on Abigail’s recovery and thanked him endlessly for being there for the young woman. However, his attempts didn’t seem to work and Chad didn’t calm down.
DOOL Spoilers – Verdict Causes Ripple Effect?
It is teased that Gabi will most likely be found not guilty in court. It is indicated that she plans vengeance after her verdict, so Abigail won’t get justice. Chad is already teetering on the edge and this could likely cause him to explode. Jack tried to help as he can see it coming.

In the past, Abigail was the person that could always pull Chad back in and if he did go over the edge, she could bring him back. But with her in Florida getting psychiatric treatment, she isn’t able to help her husband right now. So, who will save Chad — from himself and delivering his own justice — when he’s finally pushed too far?
