Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Jack Is Back! Will He Step Up For His Daughter?

Days of Our Lives spoilers speak of a surprise return from the dead on New Years Eve; Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) will appear out of nowhere at Doug’s Place right when the ball drops for the new year!

Jack has not been seen since 2012, when he was supposedly killed while he was trapped in an elevator at a time when huge underground explosions had destroyed the new town square and interrupted a celebration taking place there. Jack “died” a hero, having saved his daughter Abigail (Kate Mansi) by sacrificing his own life (or so it was assumed). Will he step up for his daughter in her time of need again? What will the rest of Salem think?

Other Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) will attend the party with an old suitor, although that person has not been revealed yet. Some spoilers tease that she will be torn between two suitors! Jack, in the meantime will show up with Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) on his arm, so it doesn’t look like he’s back in Salem to reconnect with his ex-wife Jennifer and their children!

Eve likely knew of Xander Kiriakis’ (Paul Telfer) alliances with her sister Theresa (Jen Lilley) and spoilers tease that she is in cahoots with him, which could also tie into Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) reappearance.

But how did Eve find Jack, or did Jack find Eve? Days of Our Lives viewers may recall that when Xander trapped Nicole in the warehouse, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and Xander had abducted others previous to the explosion that supposedly killed all three of them, one being the real EJ Dimera (James Scott) who Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) was trying to save. He did manage to get him out, and Eric’s sister Sami (Alison Sweeney) took EJ with her when she left Salem.

That’s how Brady and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughn) wound up at the warehouse that ultimately exploded when they tried to save Nicole. The warehouse had doors with initials on them, one door having the initials “JD” on it! That could stand for “Jack Deveraux”! Maybe Eve knew something through Theresa; and somehow he got out before the warehouse exploded.
