Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) will rip into “Steve Johnson” (Stephen Nichols) and he, along with the rest of Salem, will be perplexed by his brother’s behavior in upcoming episodes of Days of Our Lives!

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Steve Johnson Stopped Communicating With Friends And Family And Then Just Shows Up

As far as Steve’s friends and family are concerned, especially his now ex-wife Kayla Brady, (Mary Beth Evans), he is no longer the man they once knew or thought they knew. He had totally stopped communicating with even Kayla, and when she sent him divorce papers to get his attention, she received them back signed and that was the only form of communication from him in over a year, after being together for so many years! Steve didn’t return or respond to any communication about his sister Adrienne Kiriakis’ (Judi Evans Luciano) death, not even a sympathy card!

It was like he had totally forsaken and rejected his friends and family! Jack could understand if Steve had gotten amnesia as he himself did, but that does not seem to be the case. However, Steve is definitely not himself – although Jack has no earthly idea exactly how literal that statement is! Of course, Days of Our Lives viewers know the reason for Steve’s perplexing behavior – he’s Stefano DiMera in Steve’s body! Steve may still be “in there” somewhere, but right now Stefano has too much presence and control in Steve’s brain for the real Steve to breakthrough!

DOOL Spoilers – Jack Deveraux Is Angry At Steve Johnson For His Hurtful Behavior And Cold Demeanor Towards Kayla Brady

Jack is very angry at Steve for his hurtful behavior and cold demeanor towards Kayla, and perplexed that Steve doesn’t seem to want anything to do with his nephews or his niece either. Steve has two nephews, Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) through Adrienne and JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) and Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Kate Mansi) through himself and his wife Jennifer Deveraux (Melissa Reeves).

And what is this attraction that Steve seems to have towards Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall)? He doesn’t allow himself to be caught giving moon eyes to Marlena when John Black (Drake Hogestyn) is around, but Jack and Jennifer have noticed! Something is definitely wrong here – very, very wrong! Kayla already tore into Steve, as well as Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth); now it’s Jack’s turn!

Jack and “Patch” have not always had the most brotherly relationship in the world, but Jack feels he has the responsibility as Steve’s younger brother to give him a piece of his mind and try to knock some sense into his stubborn head! Years ago Steve and Jack actually fought over Kayla, Jack having been involved with her first, but she was in love with Steve now. Jack and Kayla had met before she became involved with Steve, back in Hawaii where Jack fell in love with her.

Steve had broken up with her and pushed her into marrying Jack when he found out he was his long lost brother “Billy” and that he was suffering from Hodgkins Disease – Steve had hoped that Jack’s marrying Kayla would give him the strength to fight his disease. Later, Jack met Jennifer and fell in love with her after Steve and Kayla married.

He rips into Steve for the way he abandoned Kayla and the rest of the family, and didn’t even respond with a sympathy card for Adrienne’s death and funeral, and will not understand his brother’s cold responses to himself and his family and Kayla. Steve was once a man that Jack admired and wanted to be like, and now he is nothing like that man – and Jack may remind him of that too!

      This story arc is soo over the top stupid–they should have used characters with less than 30 years of history and large devout fan bases. The writing is horrible, etc. Steve belongs with Kayla, they are soulmates and were deeply in love before he was written off a little over a year ago. At the end of the day, Kayla, JnJ, Jarlena need to up game and get Steve back to himself.

      First off Jack hasn’t been around Steve since around 2006..Steve/Steveano may not even have known if Jack was alive or back. The whole story is ridiculous. Jack, John, Marlena and most importantly KAYLA should be to identify right off the bat that Steve isn’t Steve and do something about it. Hope they reunite Stayla

      This has to end soon…getting more ridiculous by the day!!! Watching today’s episode and Steve is clearly not Steve and Kayla is telling him they have spent so many years together, raised children, etc and can’t tell he isn’t “Steve”…you can tell she still loves him, but writers are making this horrendous!!
