Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) loses control and attacks Laura Horton (Jamie Lyn Bauer). He now understands why Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) thinks he dumped her. Knowing the truth has Jack understand his daughter’s rage. DOOL spoilers reveal that when Jack finds out that Laura knew about Gwen all these years and never told him, he’s upset. Then when he learns that everything Gwen said about her mother being paid off and sent away was true, he’s furious. For the first time, he is able to see why Gwen is so angry. He thinks about the rejection and abandonment that is manifesting as pure hatred. Although he doesn’t condone what Gwen has done to his family, he does realize Gwen is just a broken little girl in a grown woman’s body. Ashford told Soap Opera Digest that Jack just blows up and attacks Laura for her actions.

Jennifer Horton (Cady McClain) can see that Jack is struggling with everything he has just learned. She turns to her husband and comforts him. The two look at each other and without saying a word, Jennifer lets him know that it’s okay and she understands. That is his daughter and Jack needs to go to her. Despite the complicated and volatile situation, Jack appreciates Jennifer’s support and understanding.

What Laura did affected Gwen her entire life and even though Jack knew about none of it, and didn’t even know Gwen existed, Jack has to make it right. That might be easier said than done, though.

The two might be able to find a way through this storm when Gwen ends up in a bad situation. She actually panics and gets scared Even though it’s not stated what exactly happens, Gwen needs someone to help her. Not having any family or friends, she bites the bullet and calls Jack for help. Of course, Jack comes to the rescue and the reason he does is that he now sees Gwen not as a monster who’s attacking his family, but as a “broken child.”
