Jada thinks Harris is just too good a cop to waste, and he won’t be taken seriously as long as he’s hooking up with a Mafia princess!

Harris would prefer Ava be called a doctor’s mother, referring to Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) if anything, but better, just leave it alone.

Harris knows Ava wouldn’t have been involved with Clyde Weston (James Read) and his bunch at all, were she not blackmailed over Tripp’s safety.

Jada should understand this, considering they just rescued Tripp and Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) and it’s a miracle they found them when they did.

Even then, they had to give them CPR and it’s all because Ava didn’t do something Clyde wanted her to do-she came clean with Harris about everything.

What it all boils down to is that Harris and Ava are in love, and will do anything for each other-including some minor covering up, if need be.

Ava’s not going to snitch on Harris about the deal he had with Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash), and Harris isn’t going to snitch about anything Ava’s done either.

It wouldn’t even serve any real purpose and when you love someone, you look out for them, like a family does-there’s loyalty and protection if it’s done right.

Harris is starting to become annoyed with Jada’s mothering and unbidden advice, although he doesn’t show it and knows that she means well!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Harris Michaels Isn’t Jada Hunter’s Child

Harris isn’t Jada’s child, and although it pains him to do so, he reminds her of that. He will live his life the way he chooses, but won’t let his relationship interfere with his police work-that worries Jada.

Something is eventually bound to come up where Harris’ private life and his public life as a policeman are going to intersect; would he really arrest his girlfriend?

Harris maintains there will be no reason to arrest Ava because she was trying to stay straight when Clyde blackmailed her. Jada, jaded by her experience having been married to Bobby Stein/Everett Lynch (Blake Berris) asks is he sure of that?
