DOOL spoilers reveal that Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) pushes Jake to take the serum. She is hoping that it will make him remember that he is Stefan. However, he is reluctant to do so. He’s heard a lot of stories about the guy and did his research. He doesn’t want to be Stefan.

However, fans know that there were two sides to the man and he wasn’t all bad. Especially after falling in love with Gabi.

In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, Barash discussed the storyline. He said that Jake has done a ton of reading and research on Stefan. The actor explained how Jake feels about his “twisted” twin brother,

“Jake’s done a lot of research on Stefan and found out a lot of crap about him that he does not like. Like Jake says, ‘The more I get to know this guy, the more I’m glad I didn’t know the guy.’ Stefan doesn’t sound like a nice guy.”

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Jake hears all about Stefan’s sordid relationship with “Gabigail,” the nickname given to Abigail when she took on the additional personality of “Gabby.” He is disgusted by it and the more he learns, the more he is glad to never have known his twin brother.

Eventually, Ivan Marais (Ivan G’Vera) arrives and informs Jake and Gabi that he isn’t Stefan, but his twin brother. While he doesn’t like being the identical twin of a man like Stefan, it could also solve a lot of his problems. However, it could also bring up new ones — like what is going to happen with DiMera Enterprises?

What will Gabi do if Jake doesn’t want to take over Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) position? What if he won’t help her get back in charge of the company she was booted from? We will have to keep watching the NBC soap to find out.
