If this rumor is true, Jake Lambert (Brando Barash) is indeed a DiMera but he’s not Stefan. And, you won’t believe who his mother is!

Jake’s identity is the latest mystery to hit the town, and for good reason. He looks exactly like Stefan DiMera, make that the late Stefan DiMera.
When Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) saw Jake he mistook him for Stefan, and when Gabi Hernandez (Camilla Banus) gets a load of him she thinks the same thing. Jake is adamant that he’s not Stefan, and he should know—maybe. He may really be Jake or he may be concealing another identity.

It’s one thing to see Jake’s reflection in a window and another entirely to see his face in the flesh. When this happens Gabi gets shortness of breath, says, “Oh my God, Stefan?” then passes out.

How could it be? Well, the birds and the bees talk we can’t go into here, but suffice it to say that owing to Dr. Rolf’s (William Utay) nefarious activities and Stefano’s obsession with Marlena, a procedure happened which produced a love child, Jake DiMera.

Marlena knows nothing consciously about what went down years ago but there is a part of her that instinctively recognizes her flesh and blood when she sees Jake.
This is all speculation at this point, but given the antics that go down in Salem, it is entirely plausible!

OMG…really? another child from Marlena..I know this is a soap, but the writers could come up with a better story than this one. Say it ain’t so!!!!!
I think this is so stupid! Marlena would know if she gave birth to a child. Just keep it simple and let it be Vivian’s son..she is coming back to the soap. So if Jake is Marlena’s son..why bring Vivian back?
Oh come ON!! I’m sick of the re-writing of history here! Enough is enough! And not only that, but a “love child”??? It’d be more like a RAPE child, if it happened at all! Which it didn’t! At what point in the show’s history was she ever pregnant after her other kids were born? Stefano wasn’t even on the scene when Marlena first arrived and was married to Don Craig. (No kids, just a step-daughter) Then to Roman, with whom she had Eric & Samantha. Then to John Black (after she’d already had Belle). It was only during John Black’s era that Stefano was even around, so these idiots need to not re-write history! Marlena is not the mother to anyone but Eric, Sami, & Belle!

I think he is either Stefan’s twin separated at birth, or a brainwashed Stefan with a microchip for a brain and a bionic heart! The twin makes the most sense, however.
I hope hes not Stephen back from the dead. Would rather him be Docs love child. No more return of the living dead please.
Go ahead & make Jake Marlena & Stefano’s “love” child. Maybe they extracted her eggs at some point & used a surrogate., who knows!! I don’t want him to be Stefan. Gabi deserves to be miserable & if it’s him she’ll be happy & more insufferable!! We can’t have that!!! Chris Kositchek never got the girl, so do Gabi the same way!!
