Read explained to Soap Opera Digest that Clyde gets to interact with a lot of different characters, including people he’s never even met before. Read also said that Clyde will get to be part of other storylines.

When Clyde watched Kate slow dancing with Roman Brady (Josh Taylor), he definitely looked jealous. However, Clyde also went to a dating app and connected with Nancy. So, we have to wonder if Clyde is really interested in Nancy or is just using her to make Kate jealous. Read teased the magazine that there might be a love triangle in the future.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Clyde met Nancy. The two seemed to hit it off even though Nancy was extremely nervous. However, Nancy appreciated Clyde’s honesty about being in prison. Nancy also got some self-esteem when Clyde encouraged her to go to Craig Wesley’s (Kevin Spirtas) wedding alone.

Clyde supported the idea that Nancy was an independent and confident woman who didn’t need a man by her side all the time. That is refreshing considering some soaps make the female characters clingy, needy, and unable to function without a man.

Read teased to expect a lot of romantic comedy. So, that should be refreshing as most viewers miss that in soap writing.

DOOL Spoilers – James Read On Clyde Weston’s Future

As for what is in Clyde’s future, it is clear that one of his goals is to be part of his grandchild’s life. Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) wants to give his dad a chance but is being cautious. Meanwhile, Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) doesn’t trust her father-in-law at all.

With the devil after Ben and Ciara’s baby, we have to wonder if the villain will redeem himself by saving baby “CIN.” We will have to keep watching to find out!

      Clyde, Nancy & Kate. Not in my wildest imagination would I have thought of those three being a storyline (lol). I actually like the idea of a romantic comedy between the three of them. I hope that Nancy will be able to grow into a very confident and complex woman when she explores a relationship with Clyde or some other guy. Craig should definitely stay in her rearview mirror from this point on.

      I am thrilled that Clyde is finally out of jail and is getting a story line befitting his talent. He is handsome too! A plus. Kate is still attracted to him, that is obvious. Nancy can build up his ego that Kate will happily tear down and I think a triangle between the three of them would be very entertaining. I look forward to it. I hope Clyde redeems himself by saving the baby. Ciara should give him a break, after she married his necktie killer son! Please keep up the great writing and dump the devil. Cheers
