In the new issue of Soap Opera Digest, McClain explains that Jennifer’s drug use increases. The actress explained that Jennifer is trying to be the strong one and be the support system for everyone else. However, the person who needs support the most is hiding it.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Vision of Abigail DiMera

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Jennifer will take a big handful of pills. Then, Jennifer sees Abigail. However, Jennifer doesn’t know if she’s really seeing a vision of Abigail or if it’s the drugs. McClain told the magazine,

“What I feel is upsetting for her is to not know whether it’s a spiritual experience or a drug-induced experience, and that can also be so confusing and upsetting to a person who’s dealing with real grief.”

As fans know, Jennifer saw a vision of a loved one during her previous drug storyline. At that time, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) was believed to be dead. During the height of Jennifer’s addiction, ghost Jack tried to help her… even if he had to be harsh. Since Jack is now alive, that was likely a hallucination, which means Abigail probably is as well.

After the vision of Abigail, Jennifer spirals even further. Unable to cope and not thinking straight, Jennifer gets in the car.
