Someone, who was witnessed approaching Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) through security cameras at the Horton Town Square by Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) had a knife!
Steve Johnson And Jada Hunter Both Thought It Was Jeremy!
After doing deep dives into the dark web to find out who was obsessing over Stephanie, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) was able to trace the owner of the websites.
Jeremy Horton was found to have been the owner of the websites where the focus was an obsession with Stephanie, as well as her character in “One Stormy Night”. Alex and Stephanie, along with Jada and Steve, were going to set up a sting to draw the stalker out and capture him.
But when Steve and Jada saw the individual with a knife, dressed as a surgeon with a mask, to them, the eyes looked just like Jeremy’s, at least from what they could tell.
But even though he was seen approaching Alex, for some reason, he did not strike, and prior to that, they couldn’t locate Jeremy, so they cancelled the sting.

In The Meantime, Stephanie Is Kidnapped
Owen Kent was also an old stalker of Stephanie’s from a few years back; in 2009, Owen served as a hired informant for the DiMera family. He was employed as a gardener for the Kiriakis family and relayed information to Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo).
When Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) kidnapped Stefano, EJ DiMera (Dan Feurreriegel) reached out to Owen, and ordered him to abduct Stephanie Johnson.
Owen complied with the orders and brought Stephanie to his father’s mortuary and kept her captive in one of the drawers.
However, as the moment approached for him to hand her over to EJ, Owen had a change of heart, developing an obsession with Stephanie and wished for her to escape with him.

Ala “The Fugitive”, Jeremy’s Only Way To Redemption Is To Catch The Real Stalker
As in the movie, and earlier, TV show “The Fugitive” it seems Jeremy’s only way to redemption is to catch the real stalker, or at the very least, rescue Stephanie from him.
In the episode of February 23, Owen, disguised as a surgeon, entered Salem University Hospital and kidnapped Stephanie from where she sat at her mother’s desk.
Dr. Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) came in, after having left to check on a patient, and lo and behold, no Stephanie!
The next scene viewers saw a dark alley, and inside a vacant warehouse in a storage room was Stephanie, unconscious, and tied to a chair.
Jeremy might be in a race to both exonerate himself, and rescue Stephanie as well-will he be able to rescue her, if not take down Owen, before he’s arrested for the crime?
