Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest that something caused JJ to cope by swallowing pills. When the time jump began, it was assumed it had to do with his mother being in a coma. Jennifer Horton (Melisa Reeves) didn’t wake up for an entire year. While that certainly wasn’t easy, it recently came to light that something else happened that destroyed JJ.

During the year of the time jump, fans learned that Haley Chen (Thia Megia) died. Soon after, we got a little more information. It wasn’t from an accident or illness. Haley was brutally slaughtered by Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk). However, the reasons for the vicious assault have not been made clear yet.

DOOL Spoilers – Kristen DiMera Got Away With It

DOOL spoilers indicate that not only was JJ devastated by Haley’s death, it was also what happened afterward. Kristen apparently got away with murder and he just can’t seem to get past that. He lashed out at Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) over the situation.

What makes this even more disturbing is that Brady defended Kristen. Even if she did somehow change for the better, people need to take responsibility for their actions and accept the punishment. In Kristen’s mind, she might be suffering enough because she lost Brady and her baby. But that’s little comfort to JJ as he has to go through each day without Haley.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – It Gets Worse Before It Gets Better

It is indicated that JJ will continue going down a dark path. He seems to be getting worse with each passing day. It might be one of those situations where they have to hit rock bottom before they can climb out of the hole they dug for themselves.
