Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: John And Harris Talk About Harris’ Time At Bayview, John Wonders If The Same Therapy Could Help Him?

Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) will talk about Harris’ time in Bayview. Harris was able to get free from past memories and brainwashing by Megan DiMera (Miranda Wilson) and John wonders if the same therapy will work for him.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – John Black Doesn’t Want Certain Memories

Even though as “The Pawn” John was brainwashed and doesn’t remember much of his past, recently a memory was awakened of killing Konstantin Meleounis’ (John Kapelos) daughter.

Now he cannot get the guilt out of his heart or his mind, and wanted to go to Greece and turn himself in-but Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) stopped him. Marlena is a staff psychiatrist but doesn’t want her involved in the case-she’s too close.

John wants to forget the memory that he thinks was put in his mind on purpose to torment him–he was upset Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) didn’t tell him he knew. But Steve came in after the shooting-he couldn’t absolutely be sure someone else wasn’t responsible.

DOOL Spoilers – Both Were Brainwashed

Both John and Harris were victims of brainwashing, and both by an evil DiMera-John by Stefano DiMera, (Joseph Mascolo) Harris by Megan. Both regret the things that they did under that brainwashing, and both men have vowed to make up for what they could of their pasts.

John hopes that if he undergoes the same type of therapy Harris did, that he can get free of the horrible memory made in Aria, Greece.

Steve isn’t even convinced that John did it-he suggested he may have walked in on something that already happened, but John has the feeling he did. He just wants to be free of the effects of it being brought to the forefront of his mind.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – How Can John Black Keep His Treatment Secret?

John wonders how he can keep his treatment secret from Marlena, seeing she is the head of the psychiatry department at Salem University Hospital.

Harris suggests John can’t really blame himself for acts done under the influence of brainwashing. It makes sense, but still, John feels himself responsible for carrying out the hit.

He decides to give it a try and see if it will help-even though he’s been through similar therapy with Marlena in the past. He convinces the therapist to put his file under a pseudonym so Marlena won’t know he’s not expecting her to heal him.
