It was previously teased that Stefano figured out that “Jarlena” would have to die. However, he didn’t mean literal death.

While Stefano consoles Marlena after telling her John is dead, he is also lied to and informed that “Doc” has passed away. The whole point is to break them mentally and emotionally, making them less likely to try and escape.

However, Stefano doesn’t plan on murdering John because Princess Gina wants the man for herself. However, the same loyalty cannot be expected from her. She wants Marlena dead, even though she has an agreement with Stefano not to harm her.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Dr. Rolf (William Utay) resurfaces and shoots Stefano. However, it is unclear why Dr. Rolf shoots Steve. One theory is that he will transform Stefano from Steve into John. Or it could be much simpler and the shooting is just to force John to do what he wants.

In either case, John ends up suspended from the ceiling and his hands are bound. He is in real danger and nobody knows because they think he’s off chasing Stefano with Steve.

As for Marlena, she gets the shock of her life when the woman she thinks is Hope points a gun at her. She declares that Marlena must die, but would she really kill her competition? After all, she has a pact with Stefano so they can both get the lovers they desire.

Princess Gina might not get her way, even with a gun. Others report that Marlena is missing and now Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) is in town to expose the truth about “Hope.” Can they find “Doc” before it’s too late?
