Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Friday, October 25 state that Philip Kiriakis will be back in the Salem picture, as John-Paul Lavoisier reprises the role. The actor recently spoke with Soaps.com, offering a bit of a preview on the storyline behind his character’s comeback.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – John-Paul Lavoisier Has A Warning
DOOL spoilers remind fans that the last time Philip was in town was August 2023. He returned to not only let his family and loved ones know he was alive, but to also attend the funeral of his late father, Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston).
In addition, he was successful in convincing Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) to drop the charges against him, for faking his death and trying to frame him of it.
The run was short, but successful on all accounts, and he ended up leaving town with his long-time love, Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin). So, what brings Philip to town now?
Lavoisier tells Soaps.com that Philip is back to ‘protect’ Titan and ensure to honor the empire his father built, by claiming ‘his birthright’.
The actor adds that Philip’s intent is to ensure Titan moves forward in the way he feels Victor would have wanted it to be and make it better; do things with the company Victor may not have been able to do.
DOOL Spoilers – John-Paul Lavoisier Will Have A Longer Run This Time Around
While Lavoisier didn’t reveal to Soaps.com how long he’d be on the soap this time around, he did note that it would be longer than the last time Philip was in Salem.
He also made it clear that Philip was “back for the empire”.
What exactly has changed though? After all, the last time he was in the little town, he seemed to have zero interest in Titan.
Still, back then, he believed that Victor’s unknown child, who received half of his estate, was Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson).
Since then, the truth has come out about Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) tampering with Victor’s final will. Now everyone knows that Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) was the real unknown heir, and he’s at the top of Titan.
As John-Paul tells Soaps.com, Philip may not have cared about Titan when he exited last year; however, he does care now and doesn’t want the company to be ruined by the wrong people (i.e. Xander), so he feels as if he needs to protect it.
The actor also hints at a ton of plot twists along the way, so fans will have to tune in to see how this storyline unfolds.
