Johnny was on board at first, but then started getting jealous. Johnny has already accused Chanel of being inappropriate with Alex when that was not the case at all.

Johnny will probably beg Joy to keep their passion a secret. However, in soaps, Joy could end up pregnant. Not only would that force Johnny to confess to Chanel, but it would have an extra wound due to the baby.

Chanel is healing from losing her baby, but those wounds will never be completely gone. So, the fact that Johnny is having a baby with Joy could mean there is no way back for JANEL.

Nancy did mention to Bonnie Lockhart Kiriakis (Judi Evans) that Joy has a tendency to get roped into messes without meaning to. So, it sounds like Joy will start her life in Salem with a big scandal!
