Fans remember that Joy was pregnant when she left for New York telling Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) that is was a false alarm. Will Joy come back with her baby in tow?

AlexAnn Hopkins Announces Her Return

AlexAnn announced her return on NBC/Peacock Official and according to the post it begins on April 24. Joy left town on March 19, 2025 which was a little less than a year ago.

Fans assumed that Joy would be returning after her exit and that she would bring Alex’s child back with her. What is Joy up to now?

Joy should know that Stephanie is missing, after all, her mother has been dating Mike Horton (Roark Critchlow) whose son is the number one suspect at the moment.

There is no guarantee that Stephanie will be home any time soon. Jeremy Horton (Michael Roark) isn’t set to leave until April as well.

Alex Kiriakis Is Beside Himself

Alex is in no shape to deal with Joy’s return especially if she has a child with her. Alex is beside himself with grief over his wife’s kidnapping and is determined to find her.

Alex has put Joy behind him and truly moved on with his life. Alex is now married to Stephanie and has no idea that Joy could be back to ruin his life.

Alex has been searching for Stephanie along with half of Salem. Alex cannot sleep, he can’t eat, he is completely distraught.

Joy may feel that she can use Alex’s playboy past to pull him back into her orbit especially now that Stephanie is missing. Is Joy back to try to win Alex back now that Stephanie is gone?

Could Joy Wesley Be Connected To Owen Kent?

Joy would have been a child when Stephanie was kidnapped before. However, that doesn’t mean that Joy hadn’t read about the situation.

Some fans are speculating that Joy may be working with Owen Kent (Wes Ramsey) to separate Alex and Stephanie now that they have taken the step to get married.

Whatever the reason, Joy is back and she is certainly going to shake things up which is probably her intent. Will Joy manage to break up Alex and Stephanie’s marriage now that she has returned? has Joy changed her mind about co-parenting with Alex?
