Days spoilers suggest that Alex won’t immediately dump Joy for Stephanie, but considering the genuine feelings he’s had for Ms. Johnson, it won’t take that long for him to decide to pursue a romance with her and end things with Joy.
Joy and Alex’s relationship will end amicably, and as they were friends before all this, they’ll likely continue to be friends. Still, coming together with Stephanie will be like a dream come true for Alex, and the two will enjoy the afterglow of ‘finally’ being together in the days and weeks ahead.
With that said, Alex and Stephanie have had a ton of obstacles in getting here, but in typical soap fashion, there might be one more they’ll have to face.

DOOL spoilers reveal that as Alex and Joy have done the deed multiple times, there’s a good chance she could end up pregnant. Especially in light of Alex leaving her for Stephanie.
Joy is a good person, so she won’t try to “hang on” to Alex through the baby; however, as the two didn’t end their relationship because of an issue, Alex and Joy will inevitably bond over having a baby together, which could cause tension between him and Stephanie.
Will Stephanie decide to step back so that the parents can come together for the baby’s sake? Only time will tell.
