It is teased that in two weeks, Allie (Lindsay Arnold) will get bad news, which is most likely related to her rape case. It is highly probable that Lani will hear from the DA on jurisdiction. Allie will have to return to London and file charges over there. However, the laws are different in other countries.

Due to it being nearly a year since the assault occurred, they might not even investigate. Any tangible evidence will be long gone and witnesses won’t remember details from that long ago. Detectives and the prosecution might determine they can’t make a case.

Days of Our Lives spoilers from Soap Opera Digest reveal that actress Lauren Koslow said that family is everything. So, if charges can’t be filed, Kate will probably take matters into her own hands. She will do anything for her family, especially if she feels justice has not been served.

“She’s shocked to hear it, and saddened, but I think in some way, intuitively, she knew that there was something else going on here. Family is everything and she wants to take action right away.”

Now, the first clue that Tripp (Lucas Adams) could get shot is when Clyde Weston (James Read) kidnapped Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox). When Kate explained how she saved Henry, she acted like pulling the trigger was no big deal. She kept whipping out that gun, twirling it around, and dramatically plopped it back into her purse. The length of the scene indicated it was for a specific reason… perhaps it was foreshadowing?

Also, Koslow saying Kate wants to take action right away is another clue. A lot of people are targeting Tripp. A justice killing would give detectives a new story. With Tripp beating up and threatened multiple times by different people, there is no shortage of suspects. The detectives would have to solve the mystery of who shot Tripp, but for once, they will already know why.
