Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) will have to choose just one client. He is getting a legal triangle storyline. Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) refuses to sign the divorce papers. Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) needs the divorce to marry Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson). They both want to hire Justin, but he can only choose one.

DOOL spoilers reveal that Ciara sent divorce papers several weeks ago. All Ben had to do was sign them and send them back. However, he couldn’t bring himself to do it as he’s still in love with her. He also believes that once she remembers the past three years, then she will regret getting a divorce.

When the papers were never returned, Ciara left several messages for Ben. He didn’t respond to those, either. So, she is now in Salem and is demanding Ben sign the papers right now but he refuses.

DOOL Spoilers – Ben Weston Stalls

Sometimes one partner wants a divorce and the other doesn’t. So, they each get lawyers. However, just because one won’t agree to the divorce doesn’t mean they can stop it. There is absolutely no truth to “I won’t grant you a divorce” in the USA. You don’t need your spouse’s approval to terminate a marriage contract. It just takes longer and requires additional steps. A judge will finalize the divorce as long as the petitioner doesn’t change their mind. It doesn’t really matter if the respondent wants to stay legally wed.

The real question here is why does Ciara need to marry Theo immediately? Ben is right about it not making a difference if he signs the divorce papers today or next year. Is there a reason she wants to get married so quickly?

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of July 12 reveal that both Ben and Ciara will want Justin as their lawyer. They will fight over him and Justin will have to make a decision on which client he is accepting. Now, this is interesting because Justin and Ciara are related. So, you would think that Justin would automatically take Ciara’s side. However, it appears that it’s really a struggle for the attorney. So, it sounds like he might wonder if there are ethical complications to taking Ciara on as a client. She’s of sound mind, she’s just missing three years of memories. However, if she still had those three years of memories, “CIN” would still be together.

DOOL Spoilers – War Ends In Love?

Most states have time limits that must expire before the divorce is granted when both parties are not in agreement. Some states also have a waiting period before one is legally allowed to get married again following a divorce. So, Ciara might be forced to wait to marry Theo anyway. As for Ben, he is probably banking on delaying the divorce. He thinks by the time the waiting period expires or a judge finalizes the paperwork, Ciara might get her memories back. Could fighting over Justin be the beginning of Ben and Ciara’s new love story?
