Days of Our Lives spoilers tease the return of Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Abigail DiMera (Kate Mansi). Fans are looking forward to seeing “Chabby” reappear on the NBC soap opera. However, Mansi recently spoke about DOOL, as well as the companion series Chad & Abby in Paris. It was hinted that her appearance might be short-term.

Even though “Chabby” are not in Salem, fans can see what the couple is up to on the DOOL app. The soap opera has a companion series called Chad & Abby in Paris. It focuses on what happens to the couple while they are away from home.

So far, there have been good and bad moments for the couple. Austin Reed (Austin Peck) kissed Abigail, while Chad deals with Juliette (Rachele Schank). She is a seductive employee who is determined to destroy “Chabby” and have Chad for herself.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Chad DiMera And Abigail DiMera Return

As fans have heard, Flynn signed a new contract and will be returning soon. As for Mansi, she will be on “recurring status.” It isn’t revealed why they will come back, but there are a few theories.

Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) urges him to return to Salem as the CEO of DiMera Enterprises. There is also the issue with Juliette. Some viewers believe that Chad can handle Juliette. However, Abigail might come close to making good on her threat to kill the temptress. Perhaps that is why Chad changes his mind about returning to Salem.

While appearing on KTLA 5 Morning News, Mansi was asked about the return of “Chabby.” She confirmed that the couple show up on Days of Our Lives this fall. However, when talking about the show, she spoke in the past tense. She also stated that she went back for a few months, indicating her return is only temporary.

“We shoot really far in advance, so I went back to the actual show for I think it was like two or three months and Billy Flynn, my co-star and I did a nice little arc there while we were simultaneously shooting the app series.”

While her words seem to suggest she leaves Salem after a few months, there might be another explanation. Mansi is only on a recurring status, meaning she won’t be seen constantly. Perhaps she will still be part of the soap, but only popping up once in a while. In either case, this is sure to make fans wonder about the future of Chad and Abigail.
