Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Kate’s Plea, Will Roman Forgive?

Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease that Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) will plead with Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) for another chance at love. Will Roman be able to forgive her for her lies of omission now that he’s had some space and time?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Kate Roberts Held Back

Kate held back from Roman things she knew that directly affected his daughter Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) that were done by her son, Lucas Horton (Bryan Datillo). These were major things and Roman couldn’t believe she covered up that Lucas had kidnapped Sami and held her hostage to make himself appear a hero when he rescued her. Sami was missing for months, and moreover, Lucas framed her ex EJ DiMera (Dan Feurreriegel) for his own crimes; it was more than law and order Roman could forgive.

But Lucas recently made strides forward in maturity, confessing to the crimes and pleading guilty and willing to do the time. Roman was impressed with Lucas’ confession, now Kate hopes he’ll be impressed enough to give her another chance.

DOOL Spoilers – A Long Time Coming, A Short Time Ending

Kate and Roman’s romance was a long time coming, but a short time ending. They danced around their feelings and attractions to each other for years, even back to when Kate was working for him as a waitress for a while. Kate has to believe that something that took so long to acknowledge and took so long to act on has to be deeper and retrievable. But she knows Roman wasn’t just mad at her for her lack of honesty, he was deeply hurt as well. She’s had some encouragement recently to try to make amends, and to get the nerve up to ask Roman to forgive her and give their love another chance.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – A Probationary Period?

Perhaps Kate will ask Roman for a probationary period to give him time to trust her and for her to prove to him that she can be trusted. Roman may feel like a romantic probation is a strange thing to ask for, but he should see her point. It took a long time for them to get to the point they were when he broke up with her, and it might take longer for him to trust her again.

All Kate can do is ask him to forgive her and to try to understand; she didn’t want to rat out her son and perhaps that was a mistake. If she’d been tougher on him maybe he wouldn’t be so prone to shenanigans, although she thought military school had stuck; as for Roman, he’ll consider it.
