DOOL spoilers reveal that next week, expect Steve to begin acting out after he witnesses Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) proposing to Kayla. He doesn’t stick around long enough to realize that Kayla didn’t immediately say yes. Thinking that his chances are gone forever, he resorts to getting drunk to deal with his pain.

According to TV Guide, Kayla will notice the sudden shift in Steve’s behavior. She’s been involved with him for more than 30 years. So while others might accept his excuses, Kayla will know there’s more underneath the surface.

He is pretty much being given the opportunity to tell her how he feels. But he won’t take it for two reasons. The first is that he thinks Justin has won Kayla’s heart. The second is that he is as stubborn as a mule.

Even though it seems like Justin and Kayla will get married, it is clear that she isn’t comfortable with the timing. Right before the spontaneous proposal, he nearly killed Orpheus (George DelHoyo). She’s been worried about his state of mind.

There is also a part of her that still loves Steve but just can’t say it out loud yet. Steve might stay silent and pout for the time being. However, he could just burst into that wedding and declare his undying love. But will she pick him or is “Stayla” really over forever? That is the big question that a lot of soap fans have right now.

What would you like to see happen with Justin? Should Steve tell Kayla how he really feels? Or does she deserve a new life with her current romantic partner? No matter which man Kayla chooses, one man will be left alone and heartbroken. We will have to keep watching the NBC soap opera to see how this storyline ends.
