Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that a major factor in choosing Adrienne to die was her work schedule. She was not available to be on the NBC soap opera full-time because of another obligation. Since 2008, she has been employed at Rose Hills Memorial Park. When she accepted a full-time position, it limited her availability for the daytime TV show.

“Why I finally decided to do it [kill Adrienne] is that we have another character in our back pocket with Judi, which is Bonnie Lockhart. So in my mind, okay, yes, we have a spare.”

It seems that there still is a future for Judi Evans on the NBC soap opera. If it isn’t Adrienne Kiriakis in flashbacks, then fans could see the return of the other character she has portrayed over the years, Bonnie Lockhart.
