Actor and DOOL legend Joseph Mascolo passed away. However, the life of his character, Stefano DiMera lives on. There will not be a recast because that would be an insult to his legacy. However, the character is not dead, but missing.

In recent episodes, his name has been mentioned. When that happens, it is usually a tiny clue that there will be a storyline with that individual. Could it be revealed that Stefano is the mastermind behind all of this? Let’s be clear — we will never see Stefano again, but that doesn’t mean he won’t be involved in future plots.

Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) could be Kristen’s partner in crime. When she first arrived in Salem, she had a conversation with Xander Cook (Paul Telfer). They mentioned how EJ DiMera (formerly James Scott) was in bad shape. Jack Deveraux’s (Matthew Ashford) name was also brought up. This seems to suggest that she not only knew about the project, but might have a bigger part in it than anyone realizes.

Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) will be leaving Salem soon. However, the actor has also portrayed Andre DiMera. That character died, but could be resurrected at any time. It would be just like Andre to stay hidden. Could he be alive and in charge of giving Kristen’s peons orders?

      I CAN’T STAND HOPE I DON’T LIKE HOW SHE ACTS SOMETIMES. SHE IS JUDGEMENTAL AND. NEVER LETS CIARA GO AND LET CIARA HAVE A LIFE WITHOUT HER MOM’S PRESENT. JUST BECAUSE HOPE IS THE ONLY PARENT CIARA HAS. BUT RAFE IS CIARA’S STEP DAD AND CIARA LOVES HIM LIKE A REAL DAD TO HER. HOPE HAS TO REMEMBER HOW SHE ENDED UP WITH BO. CIARA LOVES BEN.

      What if Kristen’s mysterious partner is her brother, Peter Blake? They have a close connection having been raised together by Stefano. He was mentioned by Abe Craver recently on Days, that he went to prison and disappeared after he got out. In would make sense that Kristen would work with him and, given his connection to Jennifer, that his presence would clarify why the DiMera’s held Jack. (A dangling plot thread.) Because he has been gone for so long, the role could be recast to be played by any middle-aged handsome actor.
