As police detectives, both Lani and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) know time is of the essence. The more minutes that pass by, the less chance of the twins being found. However, there is a big clue, as we saw on Friday’s episode.

During the week of January 11, Bonnie (Judi Evans) will mention her chance meeting to Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth). As fans recall, Bonnie oohed and aahed over a young woman with twins. While Bonnie couldn’t stop gushing and asking questions, the woman was frozen and speechless. She was trying to make a quick getaway and deliver the twins to someone else, who we suspect is Vivian Alamain (Linda Dano). Obviously when Bonnie tells Justin that she met a woman with twin babies earlier that day, he will urge her to go to the police.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that the family will be shown a sketch of the suspect, which they must get from Bonnie. The first sketch doesn’t jog any memories, but the second sketch does. In fact, both Lani and Valerie Grant (Vanessa Williams) recognize the woman in the sketch. Now, she doesn’t ring a bell for viewers, so how is she familiar to Lani and Valerie? Is she a family member? Maybe this is Pauline’s (Jackée Harry) daughter? Perhaps the daughter gets herself in some major trouble and that is actually what prompts Pauline’s timely arrival in Salem?

In the promo clip, Bonnie makes Lani a promise that she will do her part to find the missing twins. She seems to mean it and Lani is crying, but nods her head and seems thankful to Bonnie. But we also know that within the next week, Bonnie will crack under the pressure. So, perhaps this is a promise that is too big for Bonnie. Unless she knows where the twins are or who has them, how can she guarantee their safe return? Well, since this is a soap, there will be a happy ending. But could Lani now have two unlikely friendships… one with Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) and the other with Bonnie? It certainly seems like it and at the same time, Bonnie is continuing to be redeemed.
