Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Lani Has Some Explaining To Do

Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that there will be some discussion between Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Lani Price (Sal Stowers) about a lie that Rafe will catch Lani in this week on Days of Our Lives!

The lie will more than likely be out of Lani wanting to protect Baby David Ridgway (the Ellis Twins) than anything else, and it may be that it gets back to Rafe, probably through Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) that Lani lied and told Ciara and Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) that they couldn’t see the baby because he was sick.

Days of Our Lives viewers will recall that incident from a few episodes ago, and will have noticed that shortly afterwards right in front of Ciara, Lani and Rafe had David out in the baby carriage! Ciara will no doubt have something to say to her now ex-stepfather about that!

There are a lot of issues with Lani and the baby, as her boyfriend Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and her father Abe Carver (James Reynolds) have noted and brought up to her; she is obviously way too involved with this baby David to not be making him a replacement for her own baby David would have been around the same age now had he lived!

As far as keeping the baby away from Ben, it’s not like he is trying to gain permanent or even temporary custody, he just wants to be an uncle to his nephew and have his nephew know him as his uncle! He’s not even asking for time alone, Ciara would be with him any time that they visit with David!

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Lani Has Some Explaining To Do

It’s understandable that David’s mother, Jordan Ridgeway (Chrishell Hartley) would not want Ben to take care of David or be with him alone, although in reality she herself has been much more dangerous lately than her brother Ben! Rafe is respecting Jordan’s wishes, and Lani undoubtedly will explain that she is as well when he confronts her with her lie about David being sick that day, but will have a problem with her lying instead of just telling Ciara and Ben that she’s not sure because of Jordan’s restrictions on who can be around David!
