Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease Lani Price Grant (Sal Stowers) will be suspicious about Jerry Prentiss’ (Terrell Ransom Jr.) story and want to know why he lied. She’ll insist on looking at the case file on her presumed dead father Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and realize he’s a paid actor, for one thing.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – What Is This Actor Doing In Salem?
For one thing, Lani wants to know what this actor is doing in Salem, and why would he be down at the docks? Did no one question his story at all, seeing the blood on top of the dock post he said Abe hit his head on? Lani is so disturbed by the evidence photos she wants to go to the scene of the supposed accidental fall into the water.
The dock post still has the blood on it because the scene has been taped off like a crime scene and she sees the blood only on the top. How could Abe fall into the water with a gaping head wound that would have left all that blood and none in the water?
DOOL Spoilers – No Body Found And It’s Been Several Days?
Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) assures Lani she should trust the Salem PD and that they haven’t given up the search for Abe’s body. Divers went in after he dived in himself, and the search is still moving downstream. But after several days and still no body, the family needs closure and a funeral is arranged.

Lani still has doubts that her father is really dead and wants to search even more, Eli reminding her of when Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) faked his death. It took a long time for his prosthetic leg to surface, but Lani still questions why no blood ran down the sides of the dock post and it looks painted on.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Jerry Prentiss Must Be Further Questioned
Lani picks up on discrepancies in what Jerry said happened and that’s why she thinks he lied about what he saw. She thinks that he needs to be further questioned and if she has to she’ll do it herself. Lani thinks that a warrant should be issued to search that nurse, Whitley King’s (Kim Coles) apartment since she seemed to not want Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) to enter.
Eli and Rafe explain that they cannot get a warrant for her apartment because they can’t prove any of their suspicions. They may agree, but can’t just break into someone’s home because they have suspicions and no warrant-that would be illegal!
