Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Lani Wants Eli Back - Will They Get A Happily Ever After?Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Lani Price (Sal Stowers) will try to work things out with former boyfriend Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and ask him for another chance in Wednesday, June 26th’s episode of Days of Our Lives!

As Days of Our Lives viewers will recall, Eli lost patience with Lani and her obsession with baby David Ridgeway (Dexter and Jaxton Ellis) where she had moved in with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and became full time caretaker of not only the baby, but somewhat of Rafe as well, and never had time for Eli so he broke up with her!

Lani had even taken time off from the Salem Police force to take care of the baby and didn’t realize that she had become fixated on this David as a replacement for Eli’s and her baby David who had died when Lani had to have emergency surgery while pregnant.

Rafe was able to help her see the truth about herself and her fixation and she was able to separate herself and now Rafe is caring for the child on his own. Lani has once again moved out and is ready to come back to work. She’s also ready to come back to Eli!

The Days of Our Lives summer spoilers video promo released a couple of weeks ago does show that Lani will be more successful in winning Eli’s heart back then she knows now, but then sometimes absence really does make the heart grow fonder!

Lani will probably convince Eli to meet with her so that she can explain things in detail, and tell him that she understands now that she was subconsciously replacing their David with Jordan Ridgeway’s (Chrishell Hartley) David. Eli had warned her of that early on, and her father Abe Carver (James Reynolds) had seen it too, but Lani herself couldn’t see it.

All she knew is that her maternal instincts went into overdrive and that she loved caring for little David and rationalizing that he needed a mother’s love and touch since it could be quite some time until Jordan would be able to care for him, if at all! Eli should believe her and take her back.

      YES ELI AND LANI ARE MADE FOR EACH OTHER. BUT LANI NEEDS TO WORK ON NOT ALWAYS ABOUT DAVID ALL THE TIME. SHE NEEDS TO MOVE OF RAFE’S HOUSE. SHE ALSO NEEDS TO PUT ELI FIRST INSTEAD OF HERSELF. SHE NEEDS TO LEAVE CIARA AND BEN ALONE.
