Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Leo’s New Leaf Gone Wrong

Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) has been doing everything he can to start life anew and not make any more massive mistakes that alienate him from everyone in Salem. However, that’s easier said than done with Gwen Rizcech (Emily O’Brien) is your BFF and all she wants to do is help another screwup like him, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer).

That’s how Gwen and her old pal Matty, aka Leo, managed to get themselves in this latest mess and Will Horton (Chandler Massey) finds them out. He smugly tells Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) that Leo was indeed involved in Bonnie Lockhart Kiriakis’ (Judi Evans) second brief kidnapping and was the one wearing a muscle suit to make him look like the original clown.

Leo never meant to become embroiled in this, but Gwen and Xander needed help and he wasn’t going to leave a friend in the lurch. He figured nobody would ever find out and his newfound friendship with Sonny would last. Boy was he ever wrong.

When Sonny learns that Leo has not become a new man as he had hoped, he is furious. He trusted Leo and have him the benefit of the doubt while nearly ruining his marriage to Will in the long run.

“Sonny extended himself and his home do Leo and Leo did him wrong,” Greg Rikaart said in January 23, 2023, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “That’s where Sonny is really stung and Leo is feeling hugely remorseful. Leo tries to explain that he was trying to help a friend and nobody was supposed o get hurt.”

That doesn’t matter to Sonny, who kicks Leo out of the mansion and announces he is done with him for good. Leo genuinely feels something for Sonny now, so this hurts Leo as much as it does Sonny. Can they ever be friends again? Probably not, if Will has anything to say about it, but is Will planning on staying in Salem for a long?
