DOOL spoilers reveal that Dimitri went to prison. Dimitri and Leo promised to wait for each other. By all appearances and scenes, it seemed as if they were going to make it.

However, right when Dimitri was supposed to be released from prison, he sent Leo a Dear John letter. Dimitri insisted that he fell in love with someone else.

Leo was heartbroken but didn’t understand why Dimitri wouldn’t tell him this in person. Something always seemed very off about Dimtiri’s letter.

Since Leo’s heart was broken, he hasn’t really been the same. Leo sought therapy from Marlena and even confronted his mother in prison. Leo even tried reaching out to Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien). However, that didn’t go well either.

When Gwen picked up, she told him off and hung up. One would think after all these months, Gwen’s anger would have subsided. Apparently not!

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Gwen sold her portion of The Spectator to Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). At the time, Gwen had already left Salem. The transaction was done remotely, so now Gwen really doesn’t have a reason to come back to Salem.

However, Gwen’s disappearance is interesting. With Fauxigail DiMera (AnnaLynne McCord), one would think Gwen would be interested in her sister’s story. The sisters were mortal enemies, but Gwen always wanted a relationship with Abigail.

So, one would think this would be Gwen’s prime opportunity to get the family relationships she’s always craved. Maybe that’s because something or someone is keeping Gwen overseas.

One thing about Gwen is that she is vengeful and manipulative. When Gwen feels scorned, she goes to extremes to hurt those people. So, it would be just like Gwen to hurt Leo the way he hurt her. Could Gwen have forced Dimitri to write that Dear John letter to Leo?

Is Gwen holding Dimitri hostage somewhere in Europe? Will Dimitri escape and come back to Salem with this wild kidnapping story? Would Leo even believe it, and what if Gwen denies anything happened?
