Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) have been friends for many years. The two of them have formed a deeper connection since they reconnected in Salem a few years ago. Leo even recently commented that he and Gwen should get married if they can’t find love in a romantic sense. But that was before Dimitri Von Leuschner (Peter Porte) came into their lives. Leo already knew Dimitri from a couple of years ago when Leo accidentally foiled Dimitri’s plot to use the Alamainian Peacock for his own nefarious ends.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Leo Stark Doesn’t Trust Dimitri Von Leuschner
At the time, no one knew that Dimitri was actually the son of Megan DiMera (Miranda Wilson). In fact, Megan had been believed to be dead for decades. But now that the truth is out, both mother and son are in Salem and ready to take their places within the DiMera family.
Megan has many other plans as well and one of them involves making sure that Dimitri is happily married before he turns 40 years old. So when Gwen showed up at the DiMera mansion, she decided that Dimitri would marry Gwen. Megan convinced Dimitri to agree to let Gwen interview him for the Intruder.

Dimitri read all the information that he could find on Gwen and when the interview took place, he made sure his answers sparked a connection with Gwen. Gwen was immediately attracted to the newly discovered DiMera, a fact which did not go unnoticed by Leo. Leo correctly guessed that Dimitri was up to something at Gwen’s expense and tried to warn her to stay away. But Dimitri had already successfully put Gwen under his spell and they made love. Dimitri took it a step further and asked Gwen to marry him.

Ultimately, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gwen will agree to marry Dimitri. So look for Leo to do whatever it takes to keep Gwen from being hurt by Dimitri. He might even go as far as get Dimitri in bed himself. Surprisingly, Leo may be a lot more successful that he planned.
Very little is known about Dimitri, it’s possible he already feels an attraction to Leo and just hasn’t pursued it because of his potential inheritance. But Leo’s plan could make things more complicated as both he and Gwen fall for the same man. Can their friendship withstand it?
