Lucas has returned to Salem and immediately got grilled by Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow). Kate is in an awkward position as she wants to protect her son but knows the truth could come out about Sami DiMera’s (Alison Sweeney) kidnapping. The same week as the murder, Chad lashes out at Kate.

Then, Lucas wakes up with a hangover and no memory of the night before. There could even be a few empty bottles of liquor lying near Lucas. Once he learns that Abigail was investigating Sami’s kidnapping and was murdered during his bender, Lucas will think he did it.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that during the week of June 13, Lucas will be consumed with guilt. However, it doesn’t appear that he confesses to anything… at least not right away. It is stated that Lucas tries to comfort Jennifer. Seeing the agony and grief that Jennifer is going through could compel Lucas to make a shocking decision, though.

It is teased that Abigail’s murder will have a lot of suspects, but the police will have a hard time figuring out the truth. Lucas might end up confessing to the crime. However, the evidence might not stack up.

For one thing, for Lucas to kill Abigail would be too obvious. Then, there will be Kate, who will do her best to prevent Lucas from going to prison. This could lead Kate to tamper with evidence. As fans can imagine, this will only make finding the real killer a lot more difficult.
