Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Lucas Forced To Participate In Jailbreak – Confides In Marlena!

Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Lucas Horton (Bryan Datillo) will soon be out of prison, at least temporarily, according to the Days of Our Lives winter promo. But it doesn’t seem like Lucas has completed his sentence, and may be part of a jailbreak.

As viewers know from the promo, Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) pays Lucas a visit in prison and says the he needs to Lucas to help him get information from behind bars. Later, a hooded Lucas is shown revealing himself to a stunned Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). So, what’s really going on?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Lucas Horton May Be Asked With Going Undercover!

Most likely, Harris wants Lucas to befriend Clyde Weston (James Read). Recently, Clyde has blackmailed Ava Vitale (Tamara Braun) into taking over his drug trafficking business from the outside.

Clyde still has quite a bit of clout outside of the prison walls, and he has threatened to kill Ava’s son, Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) is Ava doesn’t agree to help him.

Meanwhile, drugs becoming a huge problem in Salem, prompting Harris to investigate. He will likely realize that Ava is being blackmailed by Clyde, which is why he will need Lucas to befriend Clyde in prison.

DOOL Spoilers – Clyde Weston May Stage A Jailbreak!

If Lucas agrees to help Harris, he may be put in a position where Clyde wants to escape and needs Lucas’ help. Lucas may need to follow through or risk exposing Harris’ plan. But it looks like Harris may end up getting shot according to the promo.

If that happens, Lucas may have to confide in someone he knows he can trust, but who can also keep a level head.

That’s where Marlena comes in. Lucas can let Marlena know that he was asked to work for Harris so he’s not really attempting an escape. Lucas won’t want to do anything that could hurt his chances of being released legitimately.

Chances are that Clyde will finally be stopped once and for all. But look for him to cause a lot more damage before that happens. Lucas is definitely risking additional jail time, especially if Harris can’t back him up.

In the end, thanks to Marlena, Lucas should end up the hero of the story. If that is indeed true, Lucas may actually score a legitimate release from prison!
