DOOL spoilers reveal that Doug’s memory loss and strange behavior were not due to dementia. Instead, it was demonic possession, which was something many viewers were not expecting. When the devil demanded that Marlena invite him back in, she refused. However, when the devil began torturing and tormenting Doug, she gave in.

The devil made sure Doug was sedated after jumping into Marlena’s body. One thing the demonic entity doesn’t want is to be exorcised before completing his mission. When Julie called Marlena to say Doug was asking for her, the devil tried to silence him permanently. However, Doug’s life was saved when the hospital door suddenly opened.

DOOL Spoilers – MarDevil’s New Plan

It appears that “MarDevil” will come up with a crueler plan with Doug. Instead of killing him, Marlena plans on making Julie suffer during the week of October 4. It doesn’t state if the devil plans on hurting Julie or killing her, but knowing the entity, it’s probably both. Remember what “Demon Doug” told the real Marlena during their counseling session. He was especially irritated with Julie, loved locking her in the freezer and said he was reserving a special place in hell for her.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Saving Julie Williams

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Doug loves Julie so much and won’t want anything happening to her. Doug will likely do anything to save his wife. However, the devil is unlikely to make a deal with Doug. After all, the demon delights in suffrage and that is the point of targeting Julie – to hurt Doug. However, there is no news on Susan Seaforth Hayes leaving the soap. While the devil might hurt Julie, she will probably end up surviving.

DOOL Spoilers – Multiple Salemites Affected

Doug, Julie and Marlena are not the only Salemites that will be affected by the devil. This possession story will involve practically the entire town in some way or another. Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens), Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) and Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) are a few characters that are already involved.

As for how Marlena is going to be saved, will it once again be up to John Black (Drake Hogestyn)? We will have to keep watching the NBC soap to find out what happens with this storyline.
