Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Marlena Hypnotizes Ciara In Hopes Of Triggering Her Memory

Days of Our Lives: Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal) Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that in Salem Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will hypnotize Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal) in hopes of triggering her memory in an upcoming episode of Days of Our Lives!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Ben Weston Asked Marlena Evans To Try Hypnosis

Days of Our Lives viewers will recall that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) had asked Marlena about trying hypnosis on Ciara, after she talked him out of trying Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (William Utay) amnesia serum on her. Marlena tried to talk Ciara into it but she didn’t say yes right away, but after a visit by Belle Black (Martha Madison) she seemed a little more willing to consider it. Not only did Ciara forget her relationship and marriage to Ben Weston, there were a lot of other things that she forgot too, and even though she wasn’t wild about remembering her falling in love with Ben, there are other things.

So Ciara obviously thinks about trying hypnosis so at least some of the decisions she apparently made but forgot will make some sense to her and she lets Marlena know she’s willing to try. Before she sets up the hypnosis session, she will talk to Ben and make sure he knows that it may or may not be successful, and even if Ciara does remember him and their love it may not be an immediate return to what was before for her. Ciara’s memories of captivity may be restored as well, because hypnosis may bring up both the good and the bad. She knows that Ciara is strong, but she doesn’t want her to have too much trauma to her psyche through the uncovering of her memories.

DOOL Spoilers – Marlena Evans Talks To Ciara Weston And Tells Her What To Expect

Marlena talks to Ciara and tells her what to expect, and that she will bring her out from under the hypnosis if it looks like she is becoming unduly frightened or upset. She explains that while the goal is to bring her memories back, that she was held in captivity for several months after being kidnapped and that she was presumed dead although her mother never gave up hope that she was alive and she hasn’t returned from looking for her yet. She doesn’t bring up Ben but Ciara does. Ciara says that Ben said he never gave up hope either and although that doesn’t make sense to her now, maybe it will after the hypnosis. Ciara thinks there was something wrong with her if she fell in love with The Necktie Killer!

Marlena says they will take one step at a time, and if good memories come up that is good, but that bad memories may come up as well. It all depends on what Ciara’s mind is ready to release and to deal with and she doesn’t want to do more harm than good with the hypnosis. Ciara is willing to try and see if the hypnosis brings back any of her memories, but Marlena also cautions her that she has had a head injury and some parts of her brain may not be healed enough to produce the memories.

She had also warned Ben but she doesn’t focus a whole lot on talking about him so as not to upset Ciara. She wants to make it about Ciara, not about Ben totally. Ciara lays back and counts slowly back from ten – and Marlena starts the session. Whether it brings up anything remains to be seen.
