He plans on transforming Salem’s favorite psychiatrist into the Queen of the Night. However, her attempts to get out of the procedure might fail for an interesting reason. Could it be because Marlena herself isn’t the patient, but it is instead Hattie Adams (Deidre Hall)?

DOOL spoilers reveal that Hattie will somehow get involved in negotiating with Stefano DiMera (Stephen Nichols). The villain wants Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) to deliver Marlena so he can have the woman he desires. However, there is a lookalike in Salem, as Stefano recently discovered when Hattie, posing as Marlena, fooled the villain and began making out with him.

It is confirmed that next week, Dr. Rolf will begin the procedure to turn Marlena into the Queen of the Night. At first, she tries to talk her way out of it. Now, this is definitely a classic Hattie move as the woman doesn’t know the meaning of silence. Stefano is aware that there are differences between Marlena and Hattie. However, Dr. Rolf probably won’t notice because he doesn’t know either woman very well.

Days of Our Lives spoilers speculate that the transformation could fail. This is because the procedure is meant to transform Marlena into the Queen of the Night, not Hattie.
