Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease that when Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) reaches heaven, she’ll have a reunion with someone from her past. Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) and Kate Brady (Lauren Koslow) will already be there, might Marlena reunite with her late twin Samantha Evans (Andrea Hall, Deidre Hall)?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Bo Brady’s Back On Earth Alive

Little do the three women know that Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) is back on earth alive after being resurrected by Megan Hathaway (Miranda Wilson). So it won’t be Angel Bo who greets the women and who Marlena has the reunion with, even though he came back to earth to resurrect Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams).

7769When Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) went to heaven briefly before being sent back, she reunited with Zack Brady (Scott Shilstone) as an adult, having been killed as a child.

It makes a lot of sense that Marlena’s reunion would be with her late twin sister, killed by the Salem Strangler in 1982. They didn’t always get along when she was alive, but Marlena named her first daughter, Samantha Gene Brady (Alison Sweeney) after her sister.

DOOL Spoilers – Samantha Evans Was A Salem Strangler Victim

This all happened many years ago before Marlena ever met John Black, (Drake Hogestyn) and her ex-husband Don Craig (Jed Allan) told her. Marlena had gone out of town and Samantha, unbeknownst to anyone including her sister was staying in her apartment when she was killed.

Don told her someone was killed in her apartment who looked just like her, and that’s when she knew it was Samantha. As for the strangler, that was Jake Kositchek (Jack Coleman) a serial killer who killed several women and had become obsessed with Marlena, calling into her radio show obsessively. In spite of not getting along with her opportunistic sister, her death hit Marlena very hard.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: A Way To Make Peace

Marlena, Kayla and Kate will be in heaven on a mission, and they will eventually be sent back to earth, kind of like how Bo was temporarily. But for Marlena, reuniting with Samantha will be a way to gain closure and make peace, which is something very important; she likely has felt the grief for years. When someone close dies unexpectedly, it’s easy to blame oneself for not making peace with them if something was amiss.

That is probably something Marlena tells her patients in grief counseling, but usually there’s no second chance. If the person she reunites with is Samantha, then that will be something she’s wished she could do for many years.
