Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Melissa Reeves’ Exit
DOOL spoilers reveal that Jennifer has been in Boston dealing with her mother’s estate. When Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) brought Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) home, she mentioned that there was so much to go through. That was supposed to be an explanation to why it’s taken Jennifer over a year to deal with Laura Horton’s (Jaime Lyn Bauer) estate. It was in October 2020 that fans learned from Soap Opera Digest that Reeves didn’t want to commute with the pandemic going on.
Fans did get a bit of Jennifer when the role was handed temporarily to Cady McClain. However, it was never meant to be permanent. Once McClain’s stint was over, Jennifer presumably went back to Boston.
DOOL Spoilers – Jack Deveraux’s Surprise
The winter promo confirms that Jack and Jennifer show up at the Horton house together. The way Jack is prancing around on his tiptoes, it seems to be a surprise. So, we are assuming that Jack was the only one that knew Jennifer was coming home for the holidays. In the promo, Abigail is thrilled and Jennifer looks like she brought presents!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Bonding With Grandchildren
Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Jennifer will be able to continue bonding with her grandchildren. The family was always close-knit before and the kids are growing up. What is even better is Jennifer won’t be the only one bonding with Chad and Abigail’s little ones. Doug is also seen sharing some cherished moments with the “Chabby” kids.
DOOL Spoilers – Joy And Drama
Even though Jennifer’s homecoming will be joyous for the whole family, there will still be plenty of drama. We have to wonder if Jack is ever going to forgive his other daughter, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien). The soap is famous for huge Christmas stories that have a happy ending. So, maybe Gwen will find some way to redeem herself. The bad deeds in Gwen’s book keep adding up and at some point, there will be a redemption story.

Plus, John Black (Drake Hogestyn) finally finds the missing “MarDevil.” There will be a war to save Marlena, as well as Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) baby. Ultimately, this war could affect what happens to everyone in Salem.
Despite John’s confrontation and Father Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan) return, it is teased that all hell breaks loose at the Horton Christmas ornament event. So, we have to wonder if Jennifer will be there for that, or if she could arrive after the devil is sent back to hell. We will find out when Jennifer returns during the week of December 20.
