DOOL spoilers for Monday, June 12 reveal that it will mark the one-year anniversary of Abigail’s death. Chad was emotionally and mentally destroyed by Abigail’s horrific murder. Not only that, but Chad was the one to find Abigail in the bed they shared together. Then, the case wasn’t solved right away with a lot of false arrests.

In addition to all of that, Chad had to cope with his grief-stricken children, Charlotte DiMera (Autumn Gendron) and Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher).

Eventually, Chad moved on with Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein). However, the situation with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) is complicating Chad and Stephanie’s “perfect romance.” So, Chad’s visit to Abigail’s gravesite might include some mention of Stephanie.
