NBC Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Monday, October 12, tease that an action-packed episode’s on the way. DOOL will be preempted on Thursday, October 8 – and another preemption on Friday, October 9 will follow. The NBC soap will air their next new episode on Monday, so here’s what you can look forward to.

First, Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) will wrestle with a huge decision. Eli’s facing a lose-lose situation at the moment. It’s just a matter of which option will cost Eli more!

Days fans know Eli managed to score the incriminating recording Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) wanted, which will save Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) from prison. However, Eli realizes handing the recording over will mean betraying Lani once again. If Kristen lands behind bars forever because of Eli’s sneaky move, forgiveness may not be possible.

Even so, Eli’s got a family to think about. Lani and their unborn twins are his priority, so Eli will keep that in mind as he prepares to make his final choice. Lani will have to fight hard to help Kristen avoid punishment, so she’ll really give it her all.

Nevertheless, Chad would do almost anything for Abigail. When Abby asks Chad to extend an olive branch as a personal favor, Chad will get on board with that plan. As for Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), she’ll remain focused on her goal of dismantling Abigail’s life piece by piece. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gwen will focus on Abigail’s parents as part of her latest scheme.

Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer Deveraux will face Gwen’s interruption at the DiMera mansion, where Gwen will pump them for info and try to present herself as a kind soul. Gwen has to sell this act to everyone, not just Abigail.
