During the week of May 16, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) struggle to tell Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) about her baby. For a while, they lie to Sarah and claim Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) took the baby on vacation. Xander even asks Eric to lie to Sarah.

However, Sarah will confront Nicole and make a shocking accusation. The truth comes out and Sarah cries in Eric’s arms. Of course, Xander will come across their close moment, which might make him doubt they can have a future together.

Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) tries to persuade Abe Carver (James Reynolds) to tell Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) how he feels. However, Abe’s love life is complicated by Paulina facing murder charges. Paulina and Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) lie to Abe and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey). However, Steve will tell Abe something that makes the mayor dig deeper.
