Belle Black (Martha Madison) discovers her sister lied, which makes it harder to defend her. It could also lead to a conviction unless Belle can explain why Sami wasn’t truthful about what happened the day Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) was shot.

That person was Sami, who happened to walk in Charlie’s door right after Rafe got there. He asked her a lot of questions but she wasn’t very forthcoming. She seemed to be intentionally making his job more difficult. Or perhaps she didn’t know what to say without incriminating herself or the person she’s protecting. Rafe ends up arresting Sami and charging her with murder.

DOOL Spoilers – Belle Black Furious

Sami will ask her half-sister to represent her, but nobody can blame the attorney for being hesitant. When Sami doesn’t get the answer she wants, she keeps harassing Belle until she eventually agrees. Everyone knows that the one person a suspect needs to be honest with is their lawyer. Sami should know this better than anyone. How many times has she been arrested, put on trial, and been on death row?

Well, Belle finds out that Sami lied during the week of March 8. While she might understand why she wasn’t completely honest with Rafe, there is no excuse why Belle was left in the dark. She can’t defend Sami very well if she doesn’t have all the correct information. She also doesn’t want to be blindsided in court by details that she should have been prepared for.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that a lot of things Sami does make complete sense to her, but are illogical to everyone else. Most likely, Sami is trying to protect someone she loves. Our guess is Sami found Charlie dead and assumed Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) killed her rapist. So, instead of finding out the facts, Sami had her usual knee-jerk reaction and tried to control the situation.

DOOL Spoilers – Criminal Case Gets Complicated

However, it is teased that the investigation will have many twists and turns. We also know that each week, a new suspect will appear to be the real killer. Then, we get another person at the forefront of the investigation the following week. So, it is likely that Sami is protecting her daughter when there’s nothing to protect… because Allie is innocent. However, someone killed Charlie. Rafe has to put his personal feelings aside and do his job. But this cake is going to take a toll on the guy. Nearly everyone in Salem is a suspect and very few will be completely honest, making this one tough case for Rafe to crack.
