Even though she got angry with Ben for busting in on her hot bedroom date with Charlie Dale (Mike C. Manning), she understands why now. He ends up making an admission about Ciara that he hasn’t shared with anyone before. He tells Claire that there is a specific reason why he can’t seem to move on. It’s because he feels that Ciara is somehow still alive and needs his help.

During an interview about a month ago, Wilson explained that Ben tells Claire the truth because he trusts her. He knows that no matter what he says, she will understand and won’t judge him. He also has a feeling that Claire will support him while others might think he’s losing it again. He’s probably right about that. Even though Claire and Ciara had their problems, they were family and loved each other. Claire doesn’t know if Ciara is really alive or not, but she does feel that Ben owes it to himself to follow his heart and find out.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that after talking to Claire, Ben decides to share his secret with someone he trusts. That person is Marlena Evans. He knows that Marlena is logical and will really listen to him. At the same time, he is also aware that Marlena and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) have been through situations where one of them was supposed to be dead, but wasn’t. If it weren’t for them following their hearts and listening to that connection, “Jarlena” wouldn’t be together today.

It is teased that Ben will embark on the journey to find Ciara. Despite going out of Salem, Ben won’t be off-screen. We will actually get to see him during the search and he actually comes across an eccentric character.
