After she gets checked out at the hospital, Ciara reunites with her loved ones. However, it is teased that she might not remember one important person in her life… her own husband.

DOOL spoilers reveal that Ben has finally found Ciara and expects an emotional and heartwarming reunion. However, it doesn’t go as planned. In fact, it goes completely wrong! Once he saves the “dead” Salemite from the pile of rubble after she causes a gas explosion, Ciara will go to the hospital. Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will be at the hospital, as well. He ends up with injuries from tackling Evan Frears aka Christian Maddox (Brock Kelly) and saving Ciara.

It is stated that during the week of March 15, Ben’s reunion won’t go as planned. Then Ciara lashes out at Claire Brady (Isabel Durant). Finally, Ben has a setback. All of these point to Ciara possibly having a brain injury. When she causes the gas explosion and is buried under the rubble, she very well could hit her head. We also know that Ben and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) wait together to get news about Ciara. This happens after her rescue, so that all points to Ciara being in the hospital.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Ciara does reunite with her family. However, Ben has an emotional breakdown and mental setback around that same time. He has rescued his wife and she is back in Salem. So, why would he have a setback now?

It’s quite possible that it all has to do with the snag with the reunion, hospital visit, lashing out at Claire, and reuniting with family. It seems to all indicate that Ben has a setback because he doesn’t have Ciara, as in she doesn’t remember him. If she does remember who Ben is, she might not recall that they are actually together and got married last year. That would be exceptionally painful for him.

It would also make perfect sense why Ben has a setback. Ciara has always been the driving force with his stability. Then, his search focused on finding her. Once he finally saves Ciara and now she doesn’t even know him, maybe even wants nothing to do with him? That would definitely send Ben spiraling. We will have to keep watching the NBC soap to find out how this storyline progresses over the next few weeks.
