However, the two are actually enemies, so people would have a hard time believing Sami’s story. She needs proof or someone to corroborate the one-night stand. That is when Sami negotiates with Xander to expose the truth.

While Sami is sure that this will expose Nicole to Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan), she has no idea that it also puts her own secret in jeopardy.

During Eric and Nicole’s anniversary party, Xander bursts through the door and announces the truth. As Sami stands there looking innocent, she can’t help but smirk over Nicole’s horror. While Xander’s confession does break up “Ericole,” it also has EJ looking at Sami very carefully. He notices something that makes him wonder if his wife also has a scandalous secret.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Lucas gets advice from Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson). He is told that he should just let EJ know the truth about his affair with Sami. Lucas knows that Sami would hate him for destroying her marriage. However, Sami might not blame him if someone else tells EJ the truth, such as Nicole.

Lucas does eventually confess to Sami, so it sounds like he feels bad about what he does. Likely, he sees how heartbroken Sami is over EJ kicking her to the curb. Lucas believed that ruining “Ejami” would get him the girl he wanted. However, it seems that’s not what ends up happening.

Being separated from EJ and learning of Lucas’ betrayal might make Sami take some time to think. Being alone could be the best thing for her as she tries to figure out which man she truly wants. Both Feuerriegel and Horton are on contract. However, Sweeney’s stay is only temporary.

So, at some point she will leave Salem, which makes us wonder if Sami realizes that she fell out of love with EJ a long time ago. At the same time, she might not be able to forgive Lucas for exposing her secret. She just might decide to be alone, but what does that mean for the romantic futures of EJ and Lucas? We will have to keep watching the NBC soap to find out.
