Even though Tripp admits to meeting Allie in London and taking her home, he claims that nothing happened. Tripp told his father, Steve “Patch” Johnson (Stephen Nichols) that Allie kissed him and things could have gone further. However, Tripp knew she was falling down drunk and decided to leave. So, if that is true and nothing happened between the two, then a paternity test should clear this all up.

Then, when a paternity test does finally happen, the results are usually switched or tampered with in some way. Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Expect A Plot Twist

It is clear that there is a plot twist coming up since the paternity test is being done so early in the storyline. There is also the fact that Tripp will change part of his story in two weeks, which alarms Steve. Knowing there is a paternity test coming, Tripp will admit to sleeping with Allie, but that it was consensual. That makes the rape case more complicated.

Let’s not forget that Steve mentioned wanting grandchildren, so could custody be another issue in this story? It certainly is looking that way.
