It is stated that this does happen after a brain aneurysm, but Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) is more worried than she is letting on. In a previous issue of Soap Opera Digest, head writer Ron Carlivati said that the outbursts could have some serious consequences for John and Marlena.

It is stated that during the week of October 12, John goes into a rage when he finds out that Allie has named Tripp as her rapist. With his wild mood swings, unpredictable outbursts and “Jarlena” consequences teased, could John actually get violent?

Is it possible that John will end up physically attacking Tripp? Will that result in Tripp being seriously hurt or killed? Could John face legal repercussions for the attack?
