NBC Days of Our Lives updates and spoilers reveal that Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) saves Maggie Horton Kiriakis’ (Suzanne Rogers) life. Afterward, he tells Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), but she doesn’t care. Keep in mind, she doesn’t know about the suicide attempt yet. Then, Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) fires Xander. Does this mean there is no chance of redemption?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Maggie Horton Kiriakis’ Suicide Attempt

DOOL spoilers reveal that Victor gets an alarming letter from his wife. He realizes that Maggie plans to commit suicide and sends Xander to stop her. When the villain gets to the prison, Maggie has already hung herself and is unresponsive.

However, he is able to revive her and tells her that she’s innocent.

DOOL Updates – Sarah Horton Doesn’t Care

After Xander’s rescue mission, he goes to see Sarah. He wants another chance with the woman he loves. However, he finds her in bed with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf)! It’s just a scheme to hurt Xander, but he believes the two hooked up.

Xander tells Sarah that he just saved her mother’s life. According to Soap Opera Digest, the doctor doesn’t care. She responds to Xander’s statement with zero emotion and says,

“Good for you.”

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Fired By Victor Kiriakis

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Xander’s day will just get worse. He goes back to the Kiriakis mansion feeling heartbroken. He realizes that Sarah doesn’t love him anymore and he’s lost her forever.

Then, Victor shares more bad news. He fires Xander, who is being replaced by Brady. The Kiriakis patriarch explains that he is trying to make amends to Brady and needs to try and salvage the relationship.

DOOL Spoilers – No Reward and No Redemption?

Xander shouldn’t expect a reward if his intentions to save Maggie were truly noble. However, a thank you would have been nice.

Even though he isn’t rewarded and feels like he’s getting punished, rewards and redemption are not the same thing. There is still hope that Xander can be redeemed, but it’s unlikely that Sarah will ever look at him the same again. Let’s just hope that Xander doesn’t revert back to his old ways.
